CALL FOR ABSTRACTS
The Risk Management Institute of Australasia (RMIA) is the leading professional association for risk professionals in Australia, New Zealand and the Asia Pacific, strengthened by a dynamic community of leaders, managers, and emerging talent.
We unify our community through a shared commitment to excellence, encouraging collaboration, the exchange of insights and learning from one another. One of the ways we do this is through our annual Risk Conference, which welcomes delegates from the Asia Pacific region for three days of networking and knowledge sharing on best-practice risk management.
This year's conference theme, Risk With Purpose: Driving Impact, Not Just Compliance, focuses on how risk thinking drives better decisions and meaningful impact for individuals, organisations, and communities.
We look forward to welcoming abstracts that will provide clear, practical takeaways for delegates, with the intent to stretch their thinking and enhance their breadth knowledge. Equally, many presentations may validate what many of our delegates already know.
The presentations at the 2026 RMIA Risk Conference will:
- Educate delegates on contemporary and emerging best practices in risk management and decision-making;
- Enhance delegates' thinking and approaches to existing ways of working; and
- Evolve delegates' outlook through new ideas, perspectives, tools, or case studies they can apply in their own organisations.
